This is the Rock of Ages Light Station off Isle Royale, Michigan, overlooking Lake Superior.

The lighthouse was completed in 1908 and still serves as an aid to navigation.

The tower is 117 feet high and made of encased steel plate. The original light was a second order Fresnel, which was replaced in 1985 by a 190mm lens. The focal plane height is 130 feet.

It was added to the National Register of Historical Places in 1983 (#83000881).
